Mother’s Day Minis
I really think Mother’s Day shoots are my favorite. Probably because being a mom is my favorite thing in the world.
Last year’s minis will always have a special place in my heart. We embraced the mess, the laughter, and the pure joy of letting our little ones be little. The painting setup brought so much life into each session—tiny hands covered in color, giggles echoing through the air, and moms soaking in every second. It was imperfect in the most perfect way, and honestly, that’s what made it so meaningful.
This year, I’m feeling pulled in a slightly different direction. Something a little more nostalgic, a little more rooted in where we came from.
As moms, so many of our memories are tied to the women who raised us. The textures, the traditions, the feeling of home. I keep thinking about the handmade blankets, the quilts passed down through generations, the pieces that held us long before we were holding our own babies.
So for this year’s Mother’s Day minis, I’m so excited to create a space that brings those memories back to life. Think soft layers, cozy textures, and a timeless feel that honors both motherhood now and the generations before us.
A space where you can snuggle your babies, slow down for a moment, and be present in the story you’re living.
I truly can’t wait to share more of the setup with you soon. It’s already feeling so meaningful, and I know it’s going to be something really special.
If last year was about play and movement, this year feels like home.
And I’m so honored to capture that for you 🤍
